I always enjoy seeing "Living Our [MONTH] Days" in my inbox each month. As I read through "Jayber Crow" on my iPad, I'm screenshotting pages with quotes that jump out to me, and sure enough, the page with the Wendell Berry quote was one of them. Thanks for sharing your days with us, Michele.

Isn't Jayber just the best? I like to think of him as that curmudgeonly uncle or brother that no one in the family can explain but everybody loves!

I love that statement There is always more to tell than can be told. God has made us such intricate human beings, We are fearfully and wonderfully made!

YES! And it points to the complexity of our lives. I was thinking, too, of this Proverb:

"The heart knows its own bitterness,

and no stranger shares its joy."

Only God knows the WHOLE story!
