Praise God for his grace! And thank you, Michele, for your insightful wisdom: "the same grace that worked the miracle of justification in your heart is available for the slow work of sanctification." It is slow work indeed, and I'm as impatient as a toddler sometimes. P.S. I feel sorry for Russell. Those sweet, chubby cheeks are going to get kissed nonstop!
Russell is adorable. Another little boy to love. And I have often heard God question me like this—His voice penetrates deep with conviction, but is always wrapped in grace.
Oh how cute he is in that little hat! This is grandparenting season and I'm loving my teenagers. Delightful, opinionated, and energetic. Hysterically funny. I love every minute of it ... maybe because now they can take care of themselves!
Just finished two weeks caring for our first grandchild, age 6 months. What wonderful memories to hold on to until our next meet-up! You are right. My energy level was sapped at the end of each day and sleep came quickly every single night. Thankful for this time to be a “gramma”.
Congratulations! You are truly loved and blessed! We had a large gathering last weekend and I sat and watched my oldest daughter chasing after her feisty grandson to give my grand daughter a break. LOL! It's a circle for sure. ❤️
Aw, he's adorable!! Congratulations to you and your family. I bet He was up there having a good laugh at all he was helping you to remember about parenting before your big talk.
Russell is so adorable! This is a sweet post, Michele. God does like to refine our words by having us live them before we share them, doesn't He? Thanks as ever for wonderful book recommendations!
So great to hear from you! Just ordered an Abigail book for my oldest granddaughter—she’s 7, so I think she’s ready to be introduced to your little friend. Thanks for your good work!
So cute! I'm enjoying 3 teenage grandboys. Prom, college, cars girlfriends etc. Loving this time in life. So enjoy your blog. He is risen indeed. Looking forward to friday service but sundays coming.
I loved this post! I also watched my grandson for a week in March and felt thoroughly filled with joy, albeit exhausted. Great post! We will feature your article this week for our Grace & Truth Link-Up. FYI, Russell is adorable.

I got to hold him today and YOU ARE RIGHT!

Yes, I’m pretty sure that he’s amused by some of my bumbling ways…🙄

Our oldest is 10 going on 42, so I get the “opinionated” piece. He’s a dear.
Welcome dear Russell, fearfully and wonderfully made - a great blessing!
I always forget how small the package is!

They love us right into exhaustion!🤣

Thanks for sharing. I will be in Kittery when you speak. Looking forward to it.
Have a blessed Easter. He is risen! ❤️
Make sure to introduce yourself so we can meet in real life!
I will. My daughter is the one who contacted you. I attend South Waterboro Bible Chapel so we've met before. I don't expect you to remember.
My son lives in Barrington, NH. What church did you go to?
Be Free in Barrington
So cool- that's where my son and his family attend. Small world.
That’s so cool!

I can see that I have a lot to look forward to!😍

Aww, thank you, Michele! I hope she finds a friend in Abigail!
Thanks so much for reading and weighing in with your thoughts!
He certainly is adorable. And God does have a way of bringing home whatever we’re trying to teach. Rather humbling.
It was such a glaring lesson that the humbling quickly turned to laughter. God does indeed have an exquisite sense of humor!
Ohhh, RUSSELL!!😍
He is so welcome!
