Love the book briefs, Michele! And 2 Corinthians 4 is one of my favorites. I return to that passage again and again. Thanks for sharing your reflections on it. Happy summering, studying, writing, and enjoying all the time outside!
Thanks for weighing in on the book briefs. I thought it seemed like a helpful way to get information in front of readers with minimal reading required, but wondered still…?
Your emails are always a pleasure. I love the book briefs. Its always fun to see what is on someone else's bookshelf. I have found books I treasure through other people's recommendations
The appreciation of books is such a personal thing. I find often if I read something someone recommends I am usually disappointed. Most people have specific tastes and interests. My reviews now are usually one or two words unless it was complete rubbish that I had just read.
I agree. Books do land differently on every heart and what would be a helpful and inspiring read for one person might be a complete miss for someone else. I love having conversations about books with other readers and I think that by sharing my experiences, I can help them sift through the massive amount of reading material being published.
You do well to communicate your thoughts in a few words!
It's a children's picture book but would you be interested in reviewing my new book, Soft Hugs For Mommy - a family learns to adjust to a new normal with fibromyalgia.
Thanks for the Book Briefs. I use recommendations from you and other godly people to guide my own reading choices. You share treasures that I wouldn't otherwise find.
Love these Book Briefs! Love how God is using your giftedness all over the place!
I appreciate your positive voice and the encouragement of your presence!

Hi Michele. I hope you are well. Thank you for this newsletter. Just seeing the title "God Delights in you" in my email this morning made me smile.
Oh, that’s what I was hoping! He loves us so much more than we realize !

I would be happy to!
I can send you an ARC PDF. Or if you have Kindle unlimited. It's free!
I’ve never figured out Kindle Unlimited so I guess I’ll need an ARC PDF. My email is morin6.mm@gmail.com

And so we travel our shuffling way back to truth every time. Thanks be to God for his patience with us!
