I'm just finishing a reread of Eugene Peterson's Run with the Horses. It's chock full of wisdom, all the more relevant because of the precarious times we live in. There are numerous parallels between Jeremiah's day and ours. Also processing through Ruth Haley Barton's Invitation to Solitude and Silence, striving to practice the presence of God in the ways she suggests. It's opening up new horizons for me to experience deeper intimacy with my Heavenly Father.
